The soul suffers when the body is traumatized, while the body suffers when the soul is ailing.

What is this phenomenon, and how does it develop?

Deep within our body and soul lies a fundamental knowledge of what we need and when. When we’re tired, we rest; when we’re sleepy, we sleep. If our body gets sick, our organism tries to draw our attention to the problem through various signs, such as fever, pain, fatigue, or loss of appetite. These signs can be recognized and managed with the help of medical science or various home remedies.

But what about those things we find difficult or impossible to talk about

Those deeper emotions or issues that we may be afraid to express or simply unable to share with others? In this case, how does our body signal to us, and how do we find ways to achieve healthy balance?

Our thoughts and feelings – except for emotional traumas – do not cause pain; they flow through us as fleeting thoughts and emotional waves. Often, we try to suppress and ignore them as if they didn’t exist. However, even in this quiet, struggling suppression, our body somehow signals to us.

A person suffering from psychosomatic illness is neither crazy nor hypochondriac. Their body simply becomes the subject of mental suppression and struggle. The symptoms, as if signals, express themselves and speak to them: “You need rest, care!”

In fact, the symptoms create an opportunity for unspoken desires to surface and be realized.

Physical symptoms of psychosomatic syndrome (without claiming completeness):

  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Feelings of exhaustion
  • Mood swings, general discomfort
  • Anxiety, inexplicable fear
  • Difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep
  • Foggy thinking, memory problems
  • Lack of interest
  • Decrease in sexual pleasure
  • Cynicism, exaggerated situations
  • Physical balance problems
  • Hair loss, hormonal fluctuations
  • Various skin diseases
  • Digestive or eating disorders
  • Respiratory diseases
  • Rheumatic pains
  • Eczema
  • High blood pressure
  • Compulsive twitching, restless movements

Modern medicine acknowledges the existence of psychosomatic diseases, and patients are becoming more open to the holistic healing of body and soul. I consider it particularly important that when we experience symptoms stemming from emotional wounds, we seek out the appropriate specialist. Traditional medicine, including blood tests and various examinations, forms the basis for later holistic approaches. Based on the results, we can see where further investigations may be worthwhile.

Even with possible positive results, it is worth consulting with a holistic practitioner who not only provides medical treatments but also offers support for mental healing. It is important to emphasize that if we focus solely on symptoms and do not make changes in lifestyle and coping strategies, our body will once again send signals, possibly even more strongly than before.

The self-destructive cycle created by ourselves or the power of thoughts

People suffering from psychosomatic illness quickly fall into a self-destructive cycle they have created themselves. They constantly feed their existing physical symptoms with their thoughts, focusing their attention on these symptoms, which understandably keep them in constant suffering. They consider these symptoms pathological, and as a result, the symptoms not only persist but also intensify on an experiential level. Thus, the disease becomes a defining part of their daily lives, leading to a gradual role of the patient, victim, and the corresponding behavior, thus completing the circle.

Often, we find ourselves at home with negative test results or medical opinions that do not support the severity of the symptoms, and we wonder what has happened to us, what the doctor overlooked. Sometimes, it’s not enough to talk to a good friend or a relative about these issues.

It’s worth seeking out a professional who can hear the typical key sentences almost immediately and can help the person break free from the cycle.

the spiral as a symbol

My own experiences from the period when these symptoms defined my days, along with some key sentences from me:

I remember few days when one of the symptoms of the so-called psychosomatic syndrome was not present in my thoughts in some form, and naturally, in varying degrees, in physical symptoms as well. Anxiety and hypochondria accompanied me because I perceived every external influence and emerging symptom as a huge danger, regularly explaining the presence of these symptoms. What I read on the internet didn’t always bring me closer to the solution. I felt that no one could help, they just wanted to give me medicine and send me to psychotherapy. However, I wanted to step onto a new path without these, holistic healing interested me the most. I always looked for an answer to why I was the one who got this, and what method I hadn’t tried yet.

Despite the difficulties, I believed that if I found the “solution,” then my life purpose would also be fulfilled. I observed every tool I encountered not only from the patient’s side but also from the therapist’s perspective.

During a conversation a holistic therapist said this to me, I thought deeply:

“You know, when the soul suffers, and you don’t experience who you really are, then psychological and physical symptoms will manifest suppression, and something in your body will manifest.”

After such conversations, my determination grew that radical changes would be needed for me to climb out of this. And not elsewhere, but in my own head, I needed to do a major clean-up in my thoughts. It’s time to see myself differently and see everything around me differently.

And thus began my true journey of self-development, which allowed me to find the key to my own solution.

And what I became more by the disease

  • Managaged to experience the difference between Western and holistic perspectives and their importance for completeness.
  • The moves between countries gave me the chance to find home within myself, wherever I live or stay.
  • In addition to foreign languages, with the daily presence of Asperger’s and ADHD in my environment, I learned another language, which allows me to provide support in similar cases not only to those affected but also to their relatives.
  • I gained insight into the world of stress and hormones, and for years, I followed a gluten-dairy-sugar-free and also Paleo diet.
  • I found autogenic training intuitively, which not only “treated” the symptoms but also my perspective, so I decided that this would be one of my own remedies, and since then, I have successfully applied it to others.
  • Although I tried many psychotherapeutic tools that led to healing, I believe that every possible change happens in the present. That’s why I became a transformational coach. In addition to coaching style, I also use psychological, energetic, and intuitively emerging tools I have tried on myself for healing.
  • The inner child courses helped me understand what happened to me in the past, how my childhood experiences played a role in my past behavior, and what happens when I don’t do what is good for me because of this, and ignore my inner child in the long run.
  • My twin flame connection taught me the significance of the spiritual path and helped me understand what I suppress within myself and what I really long for.

Everything is all about energy.

I realized, that anything I say or do, is completely irrelevant if the energy behind it is not appropriate.

Based on the many experiences, I felt that my intuition does not deceive me; it not only understands me but also feels the stagnation of others, and by hearing the unspoken words, I can completely empathize with their situation, gaining insight into their stagnation, so to speak.

The feeling of freedom is a wonderful experience because it no longer just means that I can mostly do what I love, but also that whatever I do, I do it with the greatest pleasure because I can be myself in it.

And if I relapse here and there? This happens less and less frequently, as I can consciously redirect myself to the right track.

If you feel that:

  • similar things occupy your mind
  • you would like to share your thoughts with me
  • you want to let things go and be a new person
  • you want to dig out what you carry inside you …

… contact me and share how you want me to support you!
