  • All my problems would be solved if finally…
  • Why is it so easy for them…
  • If only my parents could have supported me, instead…
  • Why doesn’t he appreciate me more?
  • She must have been lucky…

What is similar in these longings and statements?

The desire for change.

 

And what determines whether someone remains in the role of a victim or actually willing to do the change? Let’s see by finishing the sentences in two ways:

Victim person:

It would be so good if… But it is actually not too bad, so it is ok for now…

I crave for the moment when… – Yes, I am craving, I am just talking about it further…

All my problems would be solved if finally… – My boss, my husband, my friend would…

Why is it so easy for them… – I never understand how they do it and it makes me…

If only my parents could have supported me differently, instead… – I am stuck in my past and cannot move. Why did it have to happen like this?

Why doesn’t he appreciate me more? – I do everything for him and what do I get back?…

She must have been lucky… – She only cares about herself, of course she has time…

Self reflective – person:

It would be so good if… – Yes, I know it would be good for me, let’s see how it is possible to do a little change TODAY.

I crave for the moment when… – Hurray, I know my desire, just let’s see how I can feel the change already in the NOW as if it already happened.

All my problems would be solved if finally… – Aha, what do I know about what I REALLY want?

Why is it so easy for them… – How can it be easy FOR ME as well?

If only my parents could have supported me, instead… – Holy smokes, I was given the chance by them to find the solution that suits me best. IT’S IN ME.

Why doesn’t he appreciate me more? – Well, how could I see and appreciate MYSELF more?

She must have been lucky… – My luck resides within me; MY PATH IS MY LIFE.

My personal experience that set me on the path:

The milestone of my development came when there was no one left to blame, as more and more people turned ‘against me,’ in my thoughts yet my situation did not improve in the slightest. I had to admit that the external world is just a projection of my inner world.

BUT IF THE NEGATIVE MINDSET WORKS – AS I APPLIED IT EFFECTIVELY ON A DAILY BASIS  – THAN THE OPPOSITE CAN WORK TOO.

Transformational coaching:
