Claiming your worth on the soul mission

Asking for money for your spiritual gifts

Today, I’m inviting you into a deeper reflection—a topic that strikes the heart of every soul-led person or healer at some point in their journey, claiming your worth on the soul mission.

“Can I ask for money for my spiritual gifts?”

Or even deeper:
“Who am I to receive when I only feel valuable if I’m giving?”

If you’re walking the Twin Flame path, or you’re in a healing, coaching, or helping profession that flows from the heart, chances are you’ve wrestled with these thoughts more than once. This is not just about money. It’s about value, worthiness, and healing the parts of us that believe we only deserve love when we give.

Let’s begin at the root.

Childhood patterns in a soul mission

For many of us, the seed of this struggle was planted early. We learned that love had conditions.
That being “a good girl” meant caring for others, being available, being quiet, being strong—especially for others.

And when someone was upset or something in the family was tense, who stepped in to keep the peace?
Yes, we did.

We became emotional caregivers long before we even knew what that meant. Who knew that time that that it could also be our soul mission and we can earn money for this service?
We learned that giving equaled safety. That helping made us lovable. And so we built our self-worth around it.

So is it really a surprise that now, as adults, we:

  • Feel guilty when we say no?
  • Give, even when we’re exhausted?
  • Wonder if it’s okay to be paid for something that “comes naturally”?

These childhood wounds are mirrored in our present struggles with receiving. Especially for those of us on a spiritual mission.

“It’s not work… I just help people.”

That sounds beautiful. Pure. Humble.
But it’s also a trap.

Because when we say, “This isn’t really work,” what we often mean is:

  • I don’t feel worthy of being paid for who I naturally am.
  • It feels safer to just give, because then I’m loved, appreciated, accepted.
  • I’m afraid people won’t see my heart if I ask for money.

Let me say this loud and clear:
Your work has value. Your presence has value. Your guidance has value.

We don’t question paying a hairdresser, a massage therapist, or a carpenter.
But when it comes to healing, spiritual work, or emotional support—because it flows from the heart—we assume it should be free.

Why?

Because somewhere deep down, we’ve been conditioned to believe that giving from the soul means not receiving in the physical. But that’s the exact distortion we are here to transform.

Let me say this loud and clear:
Your work has value. Your presence has value. Your guidance has value.

When giving becomes a survival pattern

Many soul-guided women or men say:
“I’m exhausted. I’m always the one who has to hold space for others.”

I hear this often:
“When someone calls in pain, I can’t say no. I feel their need. And I open my heart.”

But here’s what happens:

  • They take the energy you offer.
  • They feel better. Maybe even for weeks or months.
  • And often, they leave without giving anything back—not even a thank you.

And let me be clear:
This is not a lack of love from their side—it’s a lack of boundaries on ours.

Because while you gave from the heart, you forgot one thing:
To honor your own energy. To claim your worth.

That exhaustion you feel isn’t because you helped someone.
It’s because you didn’t support yourself in the process.

Giving without receiving is not love—It’s a wound in disguise

You are allowed to ask for something in return.
Not just allowed—you must, if you want to sustain your calling.

What we give is not “nothing.” It’s sacred. It’s valuable. And it’s often life-changing.

Presence is value.
Clarity is value.
Emotional holding is value.
Energetic alignment is value.

You are not greedy for asking. You are grounded.
You are not selfish for receiving. You are balanced.
You are not cold for creating boundaries. You are sovereign.

My personal story

I’ve walked this. For years, I gave without boundaries.

At work, I offered free coaching.
In my community, I showed up even when I was tired.
I volunteered in clinics and sanatoriums, gave guidance to anyone who needed it, and said “yes” far too often.

And here’s what else I noticed

People started finding me when they were lost, confused, or emotionally stuck. Many of them had already paid other professionals, but deep down they still felt something was missing. They still hadn’t found relief or real clarity. So they came to me — not for another paid session, but just to talk. Just to hear my take, my presence, my truth — and often, that alone brought them more insight than they had experienced before. And still, I gave. Still, I listened. Still, I poured from a full heart… without asking for anything in return.

But this opened my eyes even more.
It wasn’t about whether I “should” give. I could give. But I also realized how many people actually trusted my presence, my insight, and the energy I brought — and how much it mattered to them.
That meant: what I gave had real value.

And slowly, something changed.
Before this I noticed others were uplifted—but I was empty. And resentful.
And I had to realize: this wasn’t about them.

This was my soul asking me to grow.

To shift from self-sacrifice to self-leadership.

From people-pleasing to energetic alignment.

From overgiving to conscious service.

I had to ask myself:

  • What do I offer freely—and where do I draw a line?
  • What is sustainable for me?
  • Can I show up fully when I’m constantly depleted?

And the answer was: no.

So I made changes.
I began asking for payment in certain spaces.
I learned to say “not now” without guilt.
I started trusting that those meant to work with me would, even if I charged for it.

And guess what?

My heart didn’t close—it opened wider.
Because I was finally including myself in the circle of care.

The soul mission includes you.

Your soul mission is sacred. It’s why you’re here.
But your soul mission isn’t to burn out, overgive, or live in scarcity.

It’s to rise.
To model balance.
To live what you teach.

And that means:

  • Receiving with grace
  • Asking with confidence
  • Holding your worth without apology

Because what you give matters.

And so do you.

The Twin Flame mirror

For those walking the Twin Flame path, this lesson shows up in a powerful mirror:

Often, we overgive to our counterpart.
We wait. We hold space. We try to fix, to heal, to love enough for both.

And in return, we are met with silence. Distance. Confusion.

But this is not rejection—it’s reflection.

Your counterpart is showing you:
“Love yourself as much as you love me.”
“Value your energy as much as you value mine.”

The soul mission includes learning balance in giving and receiving.
Because only then can the connection truly align in love.

There is a new way

If you’re learning to hold your spiritual calling with both love and leadership—welcome. You’re not alone.

We are all growing through this.

You can lead from the heart and still set boundaries.
You can give freely and still receive abundantly.
You can honor your soul mission and your human needs.

So let’s rewrite the story, together.

There is a way to give from love,
To receive from grace,
To live your purpose—and be supported in it.

Because your worth is not measured by how much you give – it’s measured by how deeply you know that you already are enough.
